Directions from Atlanta to Buckeye Plantation:

1: Take Interstate 20 East

2: Exit 154 (Hwy 278). Turn right onto Hwy 278 to Warrenton

3: After railroad crossing & 4-way stop, bear right on Hwy 80 at Gurley's Grocery Store.

4: Go 17 miles; at a 4-way stop. Turn right on Hwy 296 towards Stapleton. Stay on 296 through Stapleton.

5: Hwy 296 dead-ends into Hwy 17; turn right onto Hwy 17 towards Louisville.

6: After you pass Popeye's Chicken (on your right) in Louisville, turn left at the next flashing light to continue on Hwy 17.

7: Go approximately 11.5 miles to the dead end. Turn left to continue on Hwy 17.

8: Stay on 17 until the stop sign in downtown Midville (approximately 4.5 miles), turn left onto Hwy 56.

9. Follow Hwy 56 out of town approximately 1 mile, passing a cemetery then a large metal building (a cotton gin) on the right.

10. After passing the cotton gin, watch immediately for our sign at Henry Rowland Road, turn right

11. Go approximately 1/2 mile, watch for our sign at Ralph Smith Road. Turn left

12. Go approximately 1 mile, watch for the sign at the entrance to our driveway. Turn right

13. Following the driveway approximately 1/4 mile, watch for a flagstone entry. Turn right into the entry.

14. You will see the Plantation House Lodge. Park before the lodge to the right. Welcome!

Travel time: approximately 3 hours. Check in time is between 3:00 and 4:00 pm.
